Purpose of the job

The Assistant Manager reports directly to Regional IT Manager and is responsible for performing senior professional level business systems analysis and project management activities which include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining regional-wide business applications. To work closely with the business to identify future systems development, including leading and conducting detailed analysis and defining service improvements.
This position oversees assigned application and systems development projects of moderate to high complexity, assembling the project team, assigning responsibilities, managing schedules, resources to ensure timely completion of assigned projects and providing quality BU support. This will include working directly with third party vendors to manage external and remote development / support resources, managing their service delivery and deliverables. Travel to each site will be required (SEA Countries).

Job Description:
• Implement and develop the Microsoft platform, ERP system, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and other business relevant applications. The role combines management with in-depth / hands-on technical expertise and project management.
• Assessing business requirements to provide support and proactive change services, including the analysis of development or improvement opportunities
• Translate requirement from business unit to applications, compatibility with existing infrastructure
• To prepare requirement specification and interact with system architects and developers, 3rd parties vendor to ensure the project/system is properly implemented.
• To partner with support team members to effectively delivery change requests and the transition of post go live support activities; provides escalated support assistance as required
• To develop and execute plans for testing and training of the new application / feature
• Manage the release process for applications, including change management, end user communication and application testing.
• Train and support the system users, as well as ascertaining their needs and keeping their knowledge up-to-date.
• Manage delivery and SLA’s by defined incident resolutions
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• To liaise with other business unit to obtain timely support/advice for the applications

Yêu cầu công việc

• Degree in computer science / related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. •
• Technical certifications with any Microsoft product, Digital Platform are a plus.
• 5 years of information technology experience with a minimum of 1 years in a leader role
• Strong working experience of IT disciplines, project management, development methodologies, application support, system management.
• Proven ability to lead large scale complex IT projects, including budgeting, resource management and delivery development
• Experience in a variety of business intelligence and data integration technologies
• Proficiency in latest technology for IT systems (networking, security, software and database support)
• Have experience in understanding and translating technical concepts to non-technical information & audiences.
• Have experience in participation of business application development, technical and business analysis
• Strong business sense and excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities with all levels of management, employees, and internal customers
• Knowledge of project management process and systems, ITIL/ITSM
